She didn't notice, she was too deep in thought. "Similar, but not quite..." She exhaled, slightly frustrated. "Damn it! Oi, one question!" She held up her index finger dramatically.

He stared at her slightly bewildered then caught his composure again and nodded.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!?!" she shouted. "You aren't an aristocrat, nor a pureblood. What the hell are you?!" She pointed at him in frustration, left eye twitching.

His teeth clenched as he glowered at her.

"I was bitten by a pureblood . . . ."

"Ooooh!" she exclaimed, now back to normal. "I get it," she said, tone indifferent.

She smirked, giving off a mischievous aura. Usually, it would be Marylyn who was like this. But this was Dylain, not Marylyn. Dylain was filling in for her sister.

Zero felt his left eye twitch at her aura and turned to walk away.

She chuckled once in a "Hn!" and walked after him, grinning. She started humming a tune known only to... well, those who know it.

He stopped turning to her.

He blinked and walked to a different part of the library.

Zero narrowed his eyes at her while holding a book, and lightly bonked her head with it.

"Stop following me."

The bandages twitched with her ears. "Itte! Ow, that hurts!" She pouted innocently, fake tears welling up in her eyes. "So mean..."

Zero harshly sighed and continued walking.

She scoffed and followed, still rubbing her bandaged head. "I know that you know I'm not a human," she said with a slight mysterious air to it. "So, what am I?"

He blinked and watched her for a moment, then did a quick movement revealing her ears to him.

"Hm . . . "

She scoffed and grabbed her bandages back from him, wrapping them securely around her head. "Cheater!" Though, she was smirking slightly.

Zero blinked now getting used to her being around and sighed.

She gave a whine and fell back, then hit her head on a shelf. "DAMN IT! WHY AM I ALWAYS HITTING MY HEAD!!!" She growled, glaring menacingly at the shelf while massaging the tiny bump on her head.

Zero blinked looking to her and lightly rubbed his thumb from where she hit her head.

She blushed lightly, going chibi again. "I am not! I'll bet I have better balance than you!"
