Rooftops

Kairi looked at Saki."Have you ever drank blood from a human?"

"not that i remember, i've had vampire blood though."

"Mhm..."She muttered and closed her eyes wondering if she would be different if she was a vampire.

"Gah... i forgot to clean all the blood out of the room."

"Hnn?"She stood up and offered Saki a hand."If you want I can help."

Saki stood up. " well the fan girls are at the gates right now so why not. And help is always handy."

"Ok,let's go!"She headed to the moon dorms.

Kairi walked to the rooftops and closed her eyes as the wind blew pass her.She steped on the edge and looked down.How much will it hurt if I fall down from her? She asked herself and sat there still looking down.

Hidaka stepped out onto the rooftop and leaned against the railings. "Ah," she whispered, "fun." The breeze knocked her hood off her head. She didn't care, there was nobody there anyways. Her furry ears twitched as the wind tickled them. Hidaka smiled.

Out of boredom, Hidaka fell onto her back spread eagle.

Hidaka ended up sleeping there that night, making sure her hood was up and that she was curled into a ball so nobody could see her face.

Hidaka opened her eyes.
Drool had dried on her cheek, and her hair was tangled and messed up, parts also soaked with drool. She groaned and sat up, stretching her arms above her head. "Ahhhhh," she yawned.

Saki sat on the roof and took out her small sketch book, she yawned as she started to draw

Saki stood on the rooftops. She saw Takiko walk towards her.
"so what is it that you want dear sister? You told me to never comeback here and now you invite me back."

Saki took a charm out of her credit card, that belonged to Master. she ripped it in half and put it in an envlope with a letter in it.
"Give this to him." Saki placed it in Takikos hand. She looked into her sisters eyes, " What happened to you?"

"You left, and he needed to replace you... so he took me and told me everything."

"So he told you how I threatened to kill myself if those three killed you that day along with mum and dad."

Takikos eyes suddenly changed colour, but went back to blood red. She jumped off the roof and walked out the gates. Saki watched her leave.

Zero walked to the rooftops and the to the edge.He looked at the ground,then scanned the whole grounds of the academy.After standing like this for a minute or two he sat down and looked at the sky."Finally some peace and quiet."He muttered and lay down closing his eyes.He was tired from the Night class and more importantly he was tired from all those annoying fan girls.

Kairi walked to the rooftops with a bored expression and a sigh left her as she finally made it to the roof.Once there she noticed someone on the ground sleeping.Or so she thought.After a moment of staring she realized it was Zero and ran to him."Zero!!"She said and sat next to him with a wide smile.

Zero twitched as he heard that voice.There was no way he could escape now.He sighed and opened his eyes looking at the girl next to him.He gave her a death glare and then turned his back on her."What do you want Kairi?!"He asked as cold as possible and closed his eyes again.

"Eh?!"Kairi muttered as she raised an eyebrow at how he acted then kicked his back lightly."You don't have to be that mean!"She said and turned her back on him too with a 'humph' sound."Zero-baka!"She mumbled under her nose.

"OI!"He said as she kicked him and he jumped up and glared at her.His eyebrow twiched as Kairi called him 'baka'."Kairi,are you looking for a fight or something."He said and sat back down then patted her head."Fine,fine.I'm sorry,I was too mean."He said with a heavy sighed and a sweatdrop as he knew she won't talk to him if he didn't apologise and just now he realized maybe that won't be so bad.

A wide smile spread on Kairi's face as she turned around and hugged him."Yey,you're forgiven onii-san."She said and looked at him."Nee,what are you doing here?"

Zero flinched when she hugged him."LET GO!"He almost yelled as he pushed her away."I'm not your teddy bear."He said and rubbed his forehead with a sweatdrop.It was even more tiring to be with her then those vampires."If you must know I was about to take a nap when a known to all little monster came and started jumping up and down."

Kairi turned her back on him again as he pushed her away."You're mean onee-san."She mumbled with teary eyes.She listen to him without saying anything but then he said she was a moster and she turned to him with a glare."I'm NOT a monster!"She said and poked his nose."If you want to relax fine!I won't bother you."Kairi said and stood up walking and sitting on the edge.

Zero looked at her emotionless."And stop calling me 'onii-san'.I'm not you're brother!"He said and lay back down closing his eyes.He didn't remember how they became so close and why he could be himself around her.But it was nice to have someone close to you you could depend on.Was that what they call friendship.A few minutes passed and it was still silent.He turned to her only to see her staring at the ground from the edge.But everything he could see in her,to him she was just a little sister.Zero sighed and stood up and walked to her."Do you have something to eat with you?I'm hungry."

Kairi just stared at the ground as he said to stop calling him that.It was hard for her.After all this time she really wanted to be friends with him and she has told him almost evrything about her to him and she knew a large part of his past and still he acted so cold.To be honest she really thought of him as a big brother.She jumped a little when he sat next to her."You should bring you're own food with you!"Kairi said but still took out a chocolate from her pocket and held it up."Here.It's the last one so later I'll go by more."

Zero took the chocolate and unwrapped it.He took a bite of it and also stared at the ground."I'll go with you."He said with his usual tone and turned to the sky then closed his eyes.He wasn't really in the mood to go to the town but Kairi might get hurt.After all she wasn't a hunter and was quite an easy target fot the Level E's.
